Casa de Agua

Purification begins at Casa de Agua — our approach to relaxation is based on a journey through thermal experiences where we use only our hand-harvested, plant-based Costa Rican range of clays, loofahs and oils inspired by Pachamama’s wisdom. The earth elements are activated by water, heat and steam resulting in the ultimate cleansing and renewal of the subtle body.

THE WELL Robe Bar

Your wellness journey begins before you enter your treatment. Collect a robe and headband of your choice from a curated selection and you’re ready to flow.

Experience Showers

The ritual starts and ends here, with a range of powerful showers that soften the skin and provide cleansing before your departure.

Aromatherapy Steam Room

The warmest room at THE WELL at Hacienda AltaGracia helps facilitate advanced detox. Soothing aromas of lavender are emitted to support the lymphatic organs and to promote deep relaxation.

Heated Stones

First, apply your own clay or let one of our therapists massage it into your skin. Then, recline on one of our heated stone beds. Lie back, sip on refreshing garden tea and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Talamanca Mountains.

Tranquility Pool

After showering off your clay, cool off in our oversized tranquility pool. Intensify the experience by choosing from a selection of goose neck water jets to massage your neck and shoulders.

Sauna

An ancient therapy with multi-tiered seating. The space is infused with radiating heat to dry the body in preparation for your wellness treatment.
