Auberge Du Soleil Introduces New Culinary Experiences Ideal For Wintering In Wine Country During Cabernet Season
Special “Winter Romance” Offer Features Intimate In-Room Dinner for Two for Hotel Guests Enhanced Dining Menu Showcases a Blend of Fine Dining and Comforting Bistro-Style Dishes
Rutherford, Calif. (December 1, 2020) – Just in time for Cabernet Season, Auberge du Soleil, Napa Valley’s quintessential adult getaway, is introducing new culinary experiences designed for hotel guests and restaurant patrons seeking the ultimate in Wine Country romance and outdoor dining.
Hotel guests booking the new “Winter Romance” special offer will enjoy an intimate three-course dinner for two, paired with a bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, served within the privacy of their luxurious guest room, suite or private maison. The limited-time Chef’s Prix Fixe dinner is meant to share, and includes a seasonal winter salad, a hearty French-inspired entrée – such as Coq au Vin, Bouillabaisse, or Bœuf Bourguignon – and a decadent dessert. Auberge du Soleil has partnered with Le Creuset, renowned French pioneer of colorful enameled cast iron cookware, to deliver the main course in the brand’s beautiful Dutch ovens and sauteuses, beloved by professional and home chefs alike. The Winter Romance package is available for stays now through March 31, 2021.
At the same time, an enhanced menu, featuring favorites from the property’s Michelin-Starred fine dining Restaurant, along with casual Bistro-style dishes, is now available daily from 11:30am until 10 pm on the expansive outdoor Terrace. Diners may choose from refined items, such as the Salade de Homard, served with Asian pear, Medjool dates, spiced cashews and curry, and Coquilles St Jacques, with sunchoke purée, grilled radicchio, hazelnuts and brown butter; or opt for comforting choices, such as Paté de Campagne with pickled vegetables and pear mostarda, and Prime New York Steak with broccoli di ciccio, fingerling potatoes and Bérnaise. For a limited time the menu also includes a three-course Chef’s Prix Fixe starting at $55 per person.
“We are continuing to evolve our dining experiences to provide guests with more options available wherever they feel most comfortable – from our new menu that combines the best of both worlds featuring refined and casual dishes served outdoors on our spectacular Terrace; to an intimate dinner for two enjoyed within the privacy of our luxurious guest rooms and suites,” said Bradley Reynolds, Managing Director. “We are grateful to be partnering with Le Creuset to showcase the delicious shared entrées served from their beautiful cookware, essentially the in-room dining centerpiece of our Winter Romance offer.”
