The Experience
La Laiterie features two mezzanine spaces that overlook the main exhibition hall. Each of these is a library: one, the Library of the Past, is a collection of books published before 1920; the other, the Library of the Future, is for books published from 1920 onward. Overstuffed leather sofas, perfectly oriented lighting, and shelves offering a bounty of fascinating, unusual volumes—the libraries are a paradise for any lover of letters.
