Recovery Rituals

  • Tucked beneath the Château, discover a Gallo Roman-inspired healing journey at Les Thermes featuring a hydrothermal circuit experience. Designed as a pre- treatment offering or post workout recovery, the circuit program integrates temperature contrast techniques to activate the body’s natural healing processes. These methods use heat & cold therapies to heighten physical performance and improve overall health.

FIRE & ICE RITUAL

  • Begin in the Steam Sauna for 5 to 10 minutes to open up and detoxify the body. The elevated temperature will help increase circulation and blood flow.

  • Move to the Cooling Alcove to mindfully massage ice on the body, moving from feet upwards to waist and from fingers up the arm and down towards the waist. The cooling narrows the veins and increases the blood flow boosting circulatory health.

  • Repeat the Steam Sauna and Cooling Alcove circuit as comfortable with a maximum of 5 minutes each session.

  • Close the ritual with a cold shower to increase blood circulation, awaken the body and boost energy with cold water therapy. After the ritual we recommend lingering in the Tepidarium and/or Vitality Pool

  • Steam Sauna

    Enjoy an endorphin boost with deep inhales of dewy heat that assist with improving circulation, workout recovery, relaxation, lowering joint stiffness and other health benefits.

  • Cooling Alcove

    Mindfully massage ice from the Cooling Alcove on the body to strengthen the immune system and close pores. This brings the blood back to vital organs and increases the lymphatic system.

  • Tepidarium

    A relaxation space with mild heat balances the body and mind by gently relaxing muscles and strengthening the immune system.

  • Vitality Pool

    Drift away by the heated indoor vitality pool with its floor-to-ceiling windows looking directly out onto lush grounds for a post-swim snooze. At 35°C (95°F), the pool’s embrace offers respite and warmth even on a brisk winter day.
