Where can you acquire ski rentals?
Madeline Hotel & Residences has a dedicated on property ski concierge located behind our car valet roundabout, across from Telluride Adaptive Sports Program (TASP). Telluride Mountain also has rental/retail stores at the base of the mountain.
Can my skis be stored?
Your personal Ski Butler makes your ski vacation convenient. Ski Butlers deliver legendary service right to your room with all the rental ski and snowboard equipment you need to hit the slopes. They also operate the Ski Valet, a ski-in/ski-out experience where you will be greeted with toasty boots – and they’ll carry your skis to and from the slopes. Ski Butlers will handle your gear from arrival to departure, ensuring no time is wasted lugging your gear on your own.
Can Madeline Hotel & Residences assist with children’s ski school?
Our concierge team is happy to schedule ski school for your youngest ski and snowboarders. Children’s ski school is offered for both private lessons or group lessons. Our team will just need the following information to book: DOB, billing address, CC info, number of days skiing and ski or snowboard level.
Parents, please be aware that you will be required to fill out an emergency contact form when dropping your kids off.
Alpine, Nordic & Backcountry Skiing
“Telluride really is a skier’s mountain,” says renowned ski-maker Pete Wagner. “Great terrain, and there’s never anyone on it.” Ski 1,700 acres and 84 trails at America’s best Alpine ski resort, where there’s something for everyone, from the Galloping Goose, a beginner’s dream trail, to the Plunge, with its steep bump runs. You can also Nordic ski groomed, rolling trails through alpine forests and wide-open meadows, or explore unchartered territory with cat-skiing or heli-skiing.
Ski Untouched Powder
Board an Airbus Helicopter for the purest powder experience with access to over 200 square miles of pristine and untracked snow. Telluride Helitrax takes you to some of the highest skiable elevations in North America, where you can ski and board off summits and among high alpine basins, cirques, and couloirs. Enjoy six guided runs totalling approximately 10,000 – 12,000 vertical feet in small, intimate groups of four guests to one guide.
