Solbar Honored Again with a Michelin Star

CALISTOGA, CALIF. (October 26, 2010) – Solbar, the signature restaurant at Napa Valley’s Solage resort, has been honored with a Michelin star for the second year in a row in the new Michelin Guide San Francisco, Bay Area & Wine Country 2011, released today. Internationally recognized as the preeminent culinary authority, Michelin named Solbar among an elite group of just 44 Bay Area restaurants as the best of the best. To evaluate restaurants included in the influential guide, highly trained Michelin inspectors anonymously visit each establishment, provide objective assessments and judge on five criteria: the quality of products used, the mastering of flavors and cooking, the “personality” of the cuisine, and the value and the consistency of dishes prepared.
