Solbar Honored for the Fourth Consecutive Year with Michelin Star

CALISTOGA, CALIF. (October 24, 2012) – Solage’s Solbar has been honored with a Michelin Star for the fourth year in a row in the Michelin Guide San Francisco, Bay Area & Wine Country 2013, released today. As the foremost culinary authority, Michelin named Solbar among a very select group of just 42 Bay Area restaurants, eight of which are in Napa Valley, as leaders in the field. To evaluate restaurants included in the influential guide, highly-trained Michelin inspectors anonymously visit each establishment, provide objective assessments and judge on five criteria: the quality of products used, the mastering of flavors and cooking, the “personality” of the cuisine, and the value and the
consistency of dishes prepared.
