When it came to choosing a destination for their July wedding, Hollywood couple Michael D. Ratner, founder and CEO of the Emmy-winning OBB Media, and Lauren Rothberg, who runs the consulting company LER Consulting and is Head of Brand of Hailey Bieber’s skincare line Rhode, knew it had to be in Napa Valley. “Michael and I fell in love with Napa when we were dating. It’s so visually beautiful and centered around having a good time with excellent food and drink. Below, an insider’s peek into the power couple’s star-studded nuptials.
Dreamy Wedding Venue
The couple’s planner Mindy Weiss found the ideal venue in Stanly Ranch, where the couple held their ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. “We were so lucky to find a brand new venue like Stanly for the weekend. The staff were wonderful and our guests were so impressed with the property. The attention to detail made all the difference,” Rothberg told VOGUE.
“We loved the views from our venue and couldn’t have asked for better weather on our special day,” Rothberg told VOGUE. Pristine vineyards blanket gently rolling hills surrounding Stanly Ranch, situated on Napa Valley’s southern edge.
Blooming Beauty
The Cutting Garden’s green and white flowers “helped inform the color scheme and flowers for the whole night,” said Rothberg to VOGUE. The manicured lawn and lush blooms provided an idyllic backdrop to the couple’s outdoor ceremony.
Garden Cocktails
After the ceremony, guests including Justin and Hailey Bieber headed to the adjacent Garden House for cocktails overlooking flower gardens reminiscent of those in France.
Bells are Ringing
The groom and his friends gathered, relaxed, and posed for photographs in the Bell Suite, an intimate room studded with bells. Adjoining the Garden House, it’s an ideal space for seamless preparation, garment changes, or just a moment of quiet before, during and after the big events.
The green-and-white color scheme carried into the reception, which was held at the Glasshouse Barn, Stanly Ranch’s largest event venue, with its enormous windows that overlook the surrounding vineyards. The table setting featured a neutral color palette with pops of green and white; even the three-tiered cake was decorated with greenery and white flowers. Other pops of color came from the guests, many of whom wore color and floral prints. “It felt super Napa and summer appropriate!” Rothberg told VOGUE.
