The Experience
Follow the journey of one of the country’s most famous crops from bean to cup with Los Jilgueros, our local coffee cooperative. High up in the hills of Cedral, tour this small, but renowned Pérez Zeledón producer, from their coffee farm to the processing facilities. Wrapping up the tour, you’ll get a brief lesson in various roasts, before sitting down for a tasting. Tastings are accompanied by a collection of local sweet and savory treats, and provide the perfect morning or afternoon snack. During harvesting season, this experience takes on new life, where you will get a full immersion into the coffee experience.
