Our Social Purpose Supporting the Community Through Southern Hospitality
Enriching Lives
Primland has partnered with Patrick County High School and their Hospitality and Culinary programs to provide students with learning opportunities both in the classroom and on property at Primland. In 2021, Primland donated more than $20,000 to the Patrick County Community Food Bank and will continue to raise funds by donating proceeds from creative food and drink offerings that reflect the resort’s Southern roots and connection to the community.
About Primland Resort + Our Patrick County Community Partners
Primland Resort, Auberge Resorts Collection
We strive to create exceptional experiences that enrich the lives of our guests, our team members and the community at large. As part of these efforts, Primland Resort has created a comprehensive program to care for the local community. Unfolding across the highlands of Virginia in all their smoke-hued grandeur, the Blue Ridge Mountains are a natural paradise of forest-cloaked peaks and sun-dappled valleys. At the heart of this pristine wilderness, Primland Resort awaits on its own 12,000-acre mountain estate.
Our Patrick County Community Partners
Hospitality and Tourism are the building blocks for the future of Patrick County. We partner with the Patrick County local school system to enhance the experiences of their Hospitality and Culinary students by creating a place for internships, hands on learning, work opportunities, and exposure to the industry first hand. The Patrick County Community Food Bank is a community 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that began in 2006 whose efforts are totally bound by the donations of their community partners. Donors and volunteers work together to provide accessible and nutritious food for the people of our community. Primland has been a key donor, especially during the pandemic. This year we will raise funds by donating a portion of the proceeds from creative offerings in our restaurants that reflect our Southern flare.
