Stewards of the Land Experience

In this rare opportunity Darren Parry shares his culture leading a private sage ceremonial blessing and cultural heritage presentation discussing lessons in reciprocity, environmental stewardship, and the Bear River Massacre restoration project. Darren showcases an array of museum-quality Shoshone beading and weaving artifacts as he tells stories passed down from his grandmother and other tribal elders. He will explain the significance of the sage ceremony and offer to smudge the guests and give a Shoshone name blessing.
