Raw Contemporary Art Series is a new cultural program featuring contemporary artists working in Latin America in exhibition at Chileno Bay. Elegantly bold works of art will be on display throughout the year in this curated series by our Experience Curator, exclusively available at Chileno Bay Resort.
May and June Featured Artist Luis Kerch
- For the second RAW Art Series, Chileno Bay presents a series of works by world renowned Mexican-Spanish artist Luis Kerch, in partnership with Ginocchio Galería. The artworks presented in this series titled Inner Landscapes: Painting the Light and Colors of Los Cabos, is the result of a month-long residency Kerch had in Baja California in November 2022. The series comprises nine unique pieces from which four are on display exclusively at Chileno Bay. Younger artists from Ginocchio´s roster will be exhibited together with Kerch’s work, adorning RAW walls with International caliber Mexican and Latin American artists such as Santiago García, Emilio Said, and Daniel Moreno.
A consolidated artist, Kerch holds a Master of Science in communication design from the Pratt institute, Brooklyn, New York, USA. and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Miami Florida, USA and has 35 years of experience that have taken him to important art exhibits and fairs such as Basel Miami and Barcu in Colombia, among others, and individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico City, London, Madrid and Venezuela.
